植物绞杀现象：绞杀植物指一种植物以附生来开始它的生活，然后长出根送进土壤里(可以在空中发芽），变成独立生活的植物，并杀死原来借以支持它的植物，是一类生活方式比较特殊的植物。其生存方式是绞杀植物的幼苗附生于“支柱植物”上，长出气生的网状根系包围树干并向下扩展，直到伸入地下生成正常根系。
Strangulation: Stranglers refer to a plant that starts its life as an epiphyte, then grows roots into the soil (which can germinate in the air) to become an independent living plant and kill the plants that originally supported it. It is a kind of plant with a special lifestyle. The way of survival is that the seedlings of the stranglers are attached to the "supporting plants", and the aerial net-like root system grows around the trunk and expands downwards until it reaches the ground to form a normal root system.
